Our
Member's Pack provides basic information about the Group.
Membership Form
The
Membership Form should be completed for each young person. When you view the form you can type your information if you wish. Then print the form, complete any remaining information, sign the form and return it to you section leader.
If your details change at any time please complete a new form.
Subscriptions
On joining, each young person is required to pay a one-off membership fee of £5. For this, you will receive your necker (purple and gold), badges, woggle and handbook.
When invested, you will be asked to pay your subscription (currently £30) each term. This is to help cover the cost of premises, resources needed to run the activities and also to cover the National Membership fee (capitation), which includes the Scout Association insurance.
If you are a tax-payer, we would encourage you to complete a
Gift Aid form. Through this, we can re-claim 28% from the Inland Revenue for Group funds.
If you have financial difficulties meeting any of the costs of Scouting, please have a quiet word, in confidence, with your Section Leader. We do not wish to exclude any of the young people from activities through financial hardship.
