First Stockton Scout Group

Our Group has its own headquarters. We have a large field and a prefabricated building. The building needs to be continually maintained, which is another major task for the Group Executive. The field is excellent for camping. We run some of our own camps there. It is also big enough for a good game of football.

Sections

We have provided three ways for you to contact us, depending on why you are interested in our Group.

The Group Scout Leader is also supported by the Group Executive.

The First Stockton Scout Group is a Charity established to provide personal development and enjoyment for young people in and around Stockon in Warwickshire. Our web site is designed to help visitors learn about our Group and to help members enjoy their Scouting.

Sections

Like most Scout Groups we have 'sections' where the young people enjoy their Scouting activities. There are three sections:

• Beavers - for 6 to 8 year olds,
• Cubs - for 8 to 11 year olds,
• Scouts - for 11 to 14 year olds.

The Family of Scouting

Like all Scout Groups in this country, the Group is part of UK Scouting and of Scouting World-wide. Young members who wish to continue in Scouting can become Explorers within the Leamington District and Network Scouts in Warwickshire.

The Group Executive

Being a Registered Charity the Group needs a team to be responsible for the assets it holds. This is called the 'Group Executive'.
